About This Story

A small mist-cloud tries to copy impressive shapes while searching for a place to belong. When each shape fades, the story opens questions about change, comparison and being more than a fixed appearance.

Read this story together at your child’s pace. The pictures and the character’s choices can be a starting point for noticing feelings and asking questions, rather than searching for a correct response. A child may want to talk, point to an illustration or simply listen. Leave room for their own interpretation, and return to a favourite moment if they wish. The suggested age range and themes help you choose a book; they do not set a test for how a child should understand or respond to the story.
